18 km from the mouth of the River Iguazú, this magnificent geographic accident was formed as a result of a fracture within the earth and erosion caused by water.

Today one can appreciate a total of 275 falls of up to 80 m high, which stand out amidst the jungle of the Iguazú National Park, second one created in Argentina in 1934 with a surface of 67.000 hectares.
